WHATโS NEW
Our verse for the week this week comes from Psalms 34:18 ๐
Let us take comfort and encouragement from these words ๐.
'The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.' - Psalms 34:17โญ-โฌ18 NIVUK
Our verse of the week this week comes from John 14:1. Despite all the reasons to be anxious, stressed, or troubled, we can trust in the Lord. ๐
Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God ; believe also in me.
John 14:1 NIVUK

Our verse this week comes from 1 Corinthians.
Keep strong ๐ช
No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
1 Corinthians 10:13 NIVUK ๐

Our verse of the week this week comes from Colossians 3:17
This verse comes at the end of a passage which in some Bible's is headed 'Living as those made alive in Christ'.
The first half of the passage tells us to 'set your hearts on things above' and reminds us to actively change our bad habits with 11 negative traits we need to avoid, whilst the second half talks about the unity and relationship between believers with 11 positive traits for believers to mimic.
I like that the last verse of this passage reminds us that 'whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.' This all encompassing phrase of 'whatever you do' reminds us that our relationship with Christ is not about a set of rules. Instead of living by a checklist, we are to submit to Him in 'whatever' we think or do. ๐

Our verse of the week this week comes from 1 Peter 4:10 ๐
'Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.'
1 Peter 4:9-โฌ11 NIVUK
